Carl Stork is the manager of Ciconia & Co, a single family office located in Seattle. Mr. Stork joined Microsoft Corporation in its pre-IPO stage where he had a variety of technical and management positions. Among his positions, he oversaw the opening of Microsoft’s European offices and established product localization and internationalization and served as Bill Gates’s technical assistant. He oversaw Microsoft’s strategic relationships with the hardware industry and semiconductor companies, including the creation of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) and managed the Windows 98 development project. Since leaving Microsoft, Mr. Stork has made selected angel investments, served on several corporate boards, and overseen his family office. Mr. Stork is a minority partner in the Baseball Club of Seattle, owner of the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball. Mr. Stork received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Harvard University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
