These Terms and Conditions set out important information about www.caymansummit.com (“Website”) and the 2018 Cayman Alternative Investment Summit held on 8 to 9 February 2017 (“Conference”). Please read it carefully as it affects your rights and liabilities under the laws of the Cayman Islands. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Website. USE OF WEBSITE
This Website is provided to you for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
CAIS Ltd. (“Company”) may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of the Website. Any changes will be notified to you via a suitable announcement on the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.
The names, images, logos and content of the Website is protected by copyright, design rights, trade marks, database right and other intellectual property rights, which remain vested in the Company. You may retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, publish, disassemble, decompile, download, post, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, create derivative works from, make available to the public, adapt, alter, edit, re-position, frame, rebrand, transfer, change or otherwise use in any way any of the Website, its logos, materials or content whatsoever without the express written permission from the Company.
AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE
The Company does not guarantee that the Website will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions. The Company reserves its right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Website or any part of the Website without giving you any notice. Any commentary, opinions or other materials included in the Website are not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely.
If a fault occurs with the Website you should report it to [email protected] and reasonable efforts will be taken to correct the fault as soon as is reasonably practical. Your access to the Website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new content. The Company will attempt to restore access as soon as it reasonably can.
The Website is made available on a free-of-charge, for convenience purposes only, “as-is” and on an “as available” basis. Accordingly, subject to the terms of this document and the extent permitted by law, the Company excludes all liability to the user for any and all loss or damage howsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website, including but not limited to any liability arising in relation to any virus or other contamination or any unavailability of the Website.
Every effort has been made to provide accurate and complete information. However, the Company does not guarantee that the Website contains no errors and we make no promise or guarantee that the information and content on this Website will meet your requirements. The Company does not assume any legal liability for any inaccuracies or errors contained on the Website.
Where the Website provides links to or content from other internet sites or resources, the Company:
• does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance or completeness of information contained on a linked internet site;
• cannot and does not authorize the use of copyrighted materials contained in any linked internet site;
• is not responsible for transmissions received from linked websites or any information gathering conducted by a linked internet site;
• does not endorse the content or views expressed or products or services offered in any linked internet sites; and

Whether or not the Company is in anyway in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Company is not responsible for the following direct or indirect kinds of loss or damage (whether such damage or losses were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise) whether in an action for tort, or contract, which may arise from or in connection with your use of the Website, including but not limited to:
• loss or damage suffered by you or someone else when using the Website;
• loss or damage which you could not anticipate nor expect to happen when you started using the Website;
• any loss which is indirect or a side effect of the main loss or damage and which the Company and you could not anticipate nor expect to happen when you started using the Website, for instance if you lose revenue or salary, profit, opportunity, reputation or business interruption;
• any loss of data or damage to your device or software; and
• any loss or damage if the Website is not provided to you or are interrupted or suspended or if the Company does not comply with the terms because of events beyond the Company’s control, such as an act of God, accident, fire, natural disaster, weather disruption, lockout, strike or other official or unofficial dispute, civil commotion, decision of the Company, rule or order or act of Cayman Island’s Government or other act or event beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
Should you no longer be able to attend the Conference, you can cancel your registration by emailing the Company at [email protected] and receive a full refund, less a US$125.00 administration fee, up to December 14, 2017. From December 14, 2017 to January 13, 2018 (inclusive) you can cancel your registration and receive a 50% refund. From January 14, 2018 the Company will not be able to process any refunds.
Canceling your Conference registration will not automatically cancel any hotel and/or travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling any and all hotel and travel reservations. The Company bears no responsibility for Conference attendees’ travel and/or accommodation arrangements, unless specifically agreed.
Ticket or credit substitutions are not permitted.
Payments on Conference registration must be made by cheque, money order or wire transfer. Please contact [email protected] in order to obtain the Compnay’s wire transfer details or go to www.caymansummit.com to register. A purchase order is not an accepted form of payment. If you arrive on-site with a balance due, you will be required to pay the full on-site price for the package selected prior to having any entitlement to enrollment or attendance.
Only one (1) applicable and valid discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any applicable discounts be combined to a group order. Your registration must be paid in full before the early bird or discount entitlements can be applied.
GROUP (5+) DISCOUNT
If you purchase five (5) or more delegate passes at the full rate, you will automatically receive a US$100.00 discount applicable against each registered person. To receive this group Discount (“Group Discount”), you will be required to purchase a minimum of five (5) Conference passes within one (1) wire transfer in a single transaction. At the time of purchase, you will be sent, via email, a unique registration code (“Registration Code”) that you can distribute to the respective individuals in your group. Each individual will be required to enter this group Registration Code as they begin their registration process.
GROUP (20+) DISCOUNT
If you purchase twenty (20) or more delegate passes at the full rate you will automatically receive a 10% discount per attendee registration. To receive this Group Discount, you will be required to purchase a minimum of twenty (20) Conference passes within one (1) wire transfer in a single transaction. At the time of purchase, you will be sent, via email, a unique Registration Code that you can distribute to the respective individuals in your group. Each individual will be required to enter this group Registration Code as they begin their registration process.
To attend the Conference and all related events, including the cocktail reception and the Caribbean Dinner, attendees must be:
• at least eighteen (18) years of age; and
• a Manager, Service Provider or Fiduciary, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
The Company reserves the right to exclude any prospective attendee from registering or attending the Conference. Exceptions to this term will only be considered following written request to the event manager at [email protected]
PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
The Company prohibits attendees, participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations and other companies who have not obtained prior authorization in writing from the Company from recording in any way, including, but not limited to, photographing or video or audio-taping Conference activities unless agreed by the Company in writing prior to the Conference. Any attendees undertaking such activities will be escorted from the Conference.
Suitcasing or out-boarding is prohibited at or in the vicinity of the Conference. The Company reserves the right to escort any individual from the Conference if they are reported to be soliciting in any manner in the Conference whether or not they are a Conference sponsor or exhibitor. We encourage attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry.
In our sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or to expel from the Conference anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee, or may affect the good name, image and reputation or the Company or its affiliate companies.
The views expressed by any Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of the Conference or the Company or its affiliates. All conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely and personally responsible for the content and material of any and all individual or corporate presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and/or online website content.
